Free trial not working

I downloaded the free trial to see if it would work on a website. "FORMED.ORG". I wanted to try it out to know if I should purchase this software. I had no problem before with the standard Jaksta version. It is very disappointing when it was updated and not working anymore. I would think the newer version would be better. I'm on a Mac running El Capitan 10.11.5 version. If anyone knows of other software that works please let me know. Thanks.

What do you see in Jaksta when you try to capture it?


Are you able to try viewing a couple of movies form this site while Jaksta is running, then can you send us the log file? You can find the log by going to the Jaksta Preferences and clicking the Find Log File button.


Do you remember what version you had before? Or when you originally got it? I can send you an older version to test it out, but sites sometimes change their streaming which stops Jaksta from working when it previously did so.

Thanks for the log. Unfortunately I can't see any attempted download from formed.org in the log. What do you see in Jaksta when you try to capture a video? Is there no reaction?


Would you be willing to try an earlier version such as this one:

http://download.shedworx.com/jaksta/beta/Jaksta-1.4.6.pkg


Does this still work? It may be a change in Jaksta or a change in the site that has caused the problem.

Hi Ben, I tried the 1.4.6 version. It doesn't work. But it did work on YouTube. I need it for the difficult to get videos. Thank for your help.

Unfortunately we may not be able to capture the videos from this site.


Are you willing to provide us with your login details and a link to a sample video on this site that exhibits this problem? Best to email it to support@jaksta.com so it's not publicly visible. You can change your password afterwards. No problem if you don't want to do this.


Or alternatively can you start up Jaksta, then visit a video on this site, and when Jaksta fails to capture it, send us the log file again (before closing Jaksta down)? Hopefully this will include the attempt.
