I would suggest doing a basic reinstall - uninstall, reboot, reinstall - to see if that resolves the issue. There may be a break in the programs processes and a reinstall should reset them.

I tried that today. Didn't change anything. Is there a number I can call and have someone walk me through some ideas? Is Jaksta suitable for the newest operating system on Mac... Catalina??

I just got a brand new MacBook Pro and shifted everything from my 2012 MacBook Pro (that was fully up-to-date) to my new one and for some reason I can convert videos on my old MacBook, but when I try to convert some videos on my new one through the same software, it automatically closes when I hit convert. Also the thumbnail of your I can convert videos on my old MacBook, but when I try to convert some videos on my new one through the same software, it automatically closes when I hit convert. Also the thumbnail viewer shows a "?" instead of an image from the video.
